Living on Small or Large Acreage, or a house  block in Town?

At this property come and help a family become more  sustainable while learning the skills yourself;
  • Set up a drip irrigation system in the vegie patch
  • Bird net espaliered fruit trees & mulch
  • Prepare a garden bed mulching a green manure crop

Landcare in the Mitchell Shire, in conjunction with BEAM, are running a series of workshops across
the Shire to enable small and large landholders including ‘townies’ and people new to the area, to
join in and learn ‘how too’ by getting hands on experience.

Just some of the benefits include
  • Meeting like minded people,
  • Get to know your neighbourhood & what’s going on out there,
  • Become more sustainable in your backyard – it’s surprisingly easy
